Plants are an important part of our world. They give us food, such as sweet fruits, healthy vegetables, and tasty nuts.

Parts of a Plant

Most plants have roots, a stem, and leaves. Every component of a plant has its own job. All these components collaborate to avail a plant grow. The vigorous stem carries water, and leaves make food.

In 1878, a scientist found a monster on a Pacific island. It was sizably voluminous. He could not put his arms around it. It towered over him. He needed two men to carry it.
